Game Rules

The rules listed here are the simple tenets that we will abide by while playing our game on here:

1. Do not argue with the Game Master publicly. If you have an issue with a ruling or believe that a rule is being ignored or improperly enforced or any other kind of similar complaint, please take it to a Private Message to said Game Master.
2. Intra-party conflict is alright, intra-player is not. The former can lead to unique and interesting roleplaying events and affect the course of the in-game series of events. The latter only ever leads to hurt feelings and can kill campaigns. Take any drama or arguments to PMs with one another and if you need to solve any conflicts please consult a forum Admin or Mod.
3. Starting off, everyone will be on the honor system. This means dice rolls will not need to be done publicly in front of the Game Master and players will be trusted to correctly inform the Game Master what they rolled when asked.
4. Do not Godmod/Power Play/Puppet Master/etc. The first means not to do things that are completely outside the scope of both the game and your character. The second means not to add things at the drop of your hat to your character that were not there when your character and actions your character took were agreed upon and acknowledge. The third means to not control characters as if they were your own (NPCs included) unless it is part of your character's powerset (and even then things generally allow a Reactive Check anyways to prevent).
5. Do not ham too much or hog the spot light. Give everyone an equal chance to post and take part in the game and do not strong arm the plot into advancing based on just you and you alone; It won't work.
